6 Future of Adaptive Optics at CFHT
This manual has been updated after the first CFHT Adaptive Optics Bonnette engineering run. Much remains to be tested and learned about the AO bonnette, and a few more engineering/commissioning runs are planned for that. However, the basic functionalities and performances of the bonnette will remain unchanged and the user's manual, in its present form, gives a reliable picture of how the instrument can be used and what its performances are.
If the reading of this manual inspires you, please let us know. We would greatly appreciate hearing from you about desirable functionalities that we have overseen or improvements that could make the use of PUEO more user friendly.
