CFHT has a long history of producing excellent images and showed the astronomical community that sub-arcsecond images could be regularly achieved from the ground. Now CFHT has the world's largest close-packed CCD mosaic array (known as CFH12K) which covers an area on the sky larger than the moon. Here are some of the spectacular images to come from this camera to date.
