There were 160 proposals, 66 Canadian, 74 French and 20 UH, for semester 98II. A total of 476 nights were requested which translates to an oversubscription rate of 3.12. The requested nights included 270 bright and 206 dark nights. Since the amount of bright time available is reduced because most engineering time is scheduled during bright time the oversubscription rate for bright time is higher than for dark time, 4.25 and 2.31 respectively.
