Veronique Buat (OAMP) Hidden and visible star formation in galaxies: new insights from AKARI and Herschel surveys The surveys recently performed by AKARI and Herschel allow us to perform a complete energetic budget in galaxies observed both in UV-visible and FIR on a large range of redshift (z=0 to 2). Our work is based on the AKARI all sky survey, fields from the GT key program Herschel/HerMES and the GO key program H-GOODS. Our tool is a SED fitting analysis from the FUV to the FIR: I will briefly discuss the code, CIGALE, developed to this purpose. Then I will discuss results obtained about the properties of galaxies observed in UV-visible and/or in FIR in terms of dust attenuation and star formation.
