Title: What can Deep Radio Surveys tell us about Galaxy Evolution ? Frazer Owen, NRAO Abstract: Ideas about galaxy evolution have been steadily improving over the past several years due to the new generation of deep imaging surveys in the accessible bands across the electromagnetic spectrum. While recently the optical, IR and X-ray bands have dominated the discussion, deep radio surveys also give unique information on the subject. I will first discuss the current ideas about galaxy evolution, high-lighting some things we don't know. Then I will discuss recent multi-wavelength results for the field with the deepest existing radio survey. Finally if time allows I will discuss what can and should be done next in the radio window.
