The very-very wide and the outer solar system

So far, there are two ideas for large programs/surveys submitted (Carlberg and
Gladman) . I guess others will show up soon, and not only for MegaCam ;)

Brett, could you comment on how the very-very wide proposed by Ray could, if
well sequenced, answer some of the questions raised in the "competitive
searches" you have in mind?

For the CFHTLS cosmology side, is there any need (other than Ray's idea) for
going larger or deeper while waiting for (or complementing?) bigger projects
like the DEC, P-4 or later the LSST?
