Large programs... WIRCam useless?

Bonjour,

So far, we have seen ideas for large program on MegaCam and ESPaDOnS (see the
last Donati's abstract at http://www.cfht.hawaii.edu/tmp/absUM07.html ).

Are UKIDDS with WFCAM at UKIRT, and VISTA, looming at the 2008 horizon, going to
bring all the answers which a good IR complement to the CFHTLS could give?

Would there be any CFHTLS-unrelated wide or deep survey worth undertaking?

Just wondering...
