[Fwd: [cfhtls] CFHT Large Program Campaign [2008B-2012B] now open!]

Doubtless many of you have seen the announcement that proposals for up
to 9 semesters of CFHT observations are now open. The deadline is Oct
15 for letters of intent. We know that Megaprime remains unique for
about that time period. We also know that astrophysics is moving into an
era of "multi-telescope" observations. My own view is that a wide
science case the best, but clearly should be discussed. We can form a
committee, or, I can prepare a 5000 word doc which can then be cut,
pasted, deleted or whatever.

Should we meet? Who wants to write sections?

CFHT observing time on MegaCam, WIRCam and ESPaDOnS will be open to Large
Programs over the [2008B-2012B] period.

Letters of Intent of proposals for Large Programs in response to this first call
should be received before October 15 - 24:00UTC.
