SDSU/ARC users group web page

NEWS:On 9/15/00 the mail list got its 100th subscriber. This is great news. Although, I don't know how many more of you there are out there. I am very happy to have questions coming and going to 100 people out there and so far I think the discussions have been great. Please feel free to ask anything no matter how trivial you think it is. We have all been there at one time or another.

Welcome to the SDSU/ARC controllers users group web page. The idea to start up the group was put forth by Guy Woodhouse from the Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes on La Palma in the Canary Islands. He suggested the formation at the ESO ODT CCD workshop in September 1999. The role of the group and web pages are all open to discussion. Bob Leach has said he will supply documentation so that we can have a copy here on the web site as well as the originals at SDSU.

My idea for the web page is that it will be a archive of all the emails that are sent to the mailing list. The web page should also have a section containing DSP code for different arrays. That way we can all see what other people have done. This section will be a little hard to setup but I will start with all the DSP code I have and we can go from there. And maybe even a FAQ for people new to using the SDSU/ARC controllers.
