Greetings,
It may have slipped some of your minds but last year at the ESO
CCD conference we all put our email addresses on a list in the hopes
that I would start up a mailing list. Well, I have finally finished
setting it up. If no one objects the list will be unmoderated,
and any email sent to "sdsu@cfht.hawaii.edu" will be automatically
sent to all of you on the list.
If you don't want to be on the list anymore, send a messege with
"unsubscribe sdsu" as the message to the address
"majordomo@cfht.hawaii.edu",
the subject doesn't matter but the only text in the body is "unsubscribe
sdsu".
Also, if you want you can send it directly to me,
"jamey@cfht.hawaii.edu"
and I will remove you from the list.
I have setup a web page where I have gathered documentation from
Bob Leach about the controllers (both Generation I and II). There is
also some example DSP code, a FAQ area, a controller related
publications
area, email archive (coming soon) and a users area (coming soon). The
web page address is www.cfht.hawaii.edu/scug/
The site can have anything included in it that is useful, so please
feel free to send suggestions to me.
As this is the first email exploder I have had the pleasure of
working
with please don't hesitate to offer ideas/comments. I hope things will
go smoothly in the starting of the list, if they don't I apoligize in
advance.
If you know of anyone that may want to be on the list please feel
free to have them contact me, or they can subscribe automatically by
sending a message to "majordomo@cfht.hawaii.edu" with the message
"subscribe sdsu" as the only text and I will add them to the list.
I will not add someone to the list without them telling me.
