Probing the stellar populations and the kinematics of the galactic Bulge on the CFHT

Abstract: We present here the first results of our ongoing program of a large proper motion study of the galactic Bulge. These kinematical informations will give us new insights in the dynamical behaviour of the bulge-bar kinematics as well as the rotation of the Bulge. We will present preliminary results of the stellar populations of the galactic Bulge population and compare it with stellar population synthesis models. Additional surveys in the Near and Mid-IR (e.g. WIRCAM, SPITZER) are necessary to overcome the extreme, high interstellar extinction in the most inner parts of our Galaxy.
