Abstract: We have observed the entire COSMOS field using WIRCAM and constructed, the largest and deepest survey of the distant universe in the, near-infrared to date. In this talk I will present some results the, first years' worth of data, which already reaches a KAB~23 over the, whole 2 deg^2 of the COSMOS field. In particular the, clustering properties of luminosity- and mass-selected elliptical, galaxy populations will be described as well as the properties of the, COSMOS extremely red object population. In a second talk, Olivier, Ilbert will describe mass functions derived using this data in, combination with other COSMOS datasets.
