WIRCam On-Chip Guiding with the H2RG Arrays

Abstract: On-chip guiding in WIRCam with the H2RG arrays from Rockwell has proven to be a challenging part of the WIRCam project. The major issues have been with guiding during readout and in between exposures, and have involved trade-offs between guiding performance and degrading the quality of the science image. The issues found along the way will be discussed as will the evolution of the guiding system.
