The Earthquake of the October 15, 2006

Abstract: CFHT's headquarters and summit facilities were disrupted by two earthquakes of Magniture 6.7 and 6.0 on October 15, 2006. Although no injuries to staff or serious damage to equipment or systems was sustained, several systems were broken and operations was dissrupted for several days before operations could be resumed. The impact of the earthquakes is briefly summarized.
