Abstract: The CFHTLS Strong Lensing Legacy Survey (SL2S) is a homogeneous sample of strong lensing events in the CFHTLS. The SL2S sample is dominated by mass scales of 10^13 solar masses aka galaxy groups. We have a unique sample of strong lensing galaxy groups allowing us to study the details of their Dark Matter properties for the first time. I will summarize, in this talk-poster, the current state of the SL2S, show our recent results based on CFHT + HST imaging, and spectroscopy and review the SL2S science goals for the next years. I will briefly mention the potential of large samples of strong lensing events for probing the physics of massive objects and constrain cosmological parameters.
