Astronomy!
I received my Bachelor's Degree in math, computer science, and physics
from Augustana College in the
Quad Cities. After graduate
school in Physics at UNM in Albuquerque,
I worked for NOAO's
CTIO in La Serena, Chile
for 5 years and NOAO's
KPNO in
Tucson,
Arizona for 2 years before
going back to school in astronomy, where I received a Masters Degree in
astronomy from Steward Observatory
at the University of Arizona, located
in Tucson. I work on
Supernovae mostly with various collaborators
in the US and around the world. I was hired by
CFHT (Canada-France-Hawaii
Telescope Corporation) as an
Observing Assistant. My job has evolved to the position of Remote Observer.
I work closely with three great people, Cameron Wipper
(website), Callie Crowder
(website),
and David Woodworth
(website).
