Le camion est stationné sur le droit de passage, à la limite "océan" de
la terre (voir carte). Il y a un tracteur rouge stationné
derrière. Regardons l'océan... ahhhhhhh!
The truck is parked on the easement road, at the makai boundary (see
map below). There's a red tractor parked behind. Let's take a look at
the ocean... ahhhhhhh!
Marchons un peu vers la montagne. Regardons vers le ravin, qui est
indiqué par la rangée d'arbres à gauche et au milieu de la photo. On
voit aussi un peu la rangée de canne à sucre à droite sur la photo.
Let's walk towards the mountain. We're looking towards the gulch
(where the back row of trees is, at the left and in the middle of the
photograph). We also see a little bit of the row of sugar cane on the
right.
En continuant à marcher sur le droit de passage, on arrive près des
rangées de canne à sucre. Regardons encore l'océan... ahhhhhhhh! (On
voit un peu le camion à gauche).
Walking on the easement road, we get near the sugar cane. Let's take
a look at the ocean again... ahhhhhhh! (We see the truck on the photos,
on the left)
Au même endroit, on regarde vers le ravin (bordé d'arbres, qu'on voit
au fond de la photo). Noter la rangée de canne à sucre.
At the same spot, we look towards the kink in the gulch (trees border
the gulch, and we see them in the background). Note the row of sugar cane.
Près du ravin, sur la vieille route de canne à sucre, on regarde
l'océan. La touffe d'arbres à droite indique le petit détour du ravin.
Near the gulch, on the old cane road, we look at the ocean. The trees
on the right indicate the kink in the gulch.
On continue de marcher sur la vieille route de canne à sucre, on
dépasse un peu le ravin, et on regarde vers celui-ci.
We continue to walk on the old cane road, we pass it, then look at it.
Jeff se tient à un endroit où ou pourrait construire... Les gros
arbres qu'on voit à droite ne sont pas sur la propriété.
Jeff stands on a possible construction site... The big trees on the
right are not on the property.
Du même endroit, regardons vers le coin de la propriété. Le coin est
à peu près au 1/3 en partant de la droite de la photo.
On the same spot, let's look towards the corner of the property,
which is about 1/3 of the way in the photograph, starting from the right.
Du même endroit, regardons vers le camion, qu'on voit à droite dans
la photo, à côté d'un tracteur.
On the same spot, let's look towards the truck, which we see on the
right, next to a tractor.
Du même endroit, regardons vers la montagne... Ça donne une idée de
la pente.

En suivant la route de canne à sucre, on arrive à la limite de la
terre (on voit un bout du ruban qui indique la limite, à droite sur la
photo). Regardons vers le camion (à l'extrême gauche sur la photo).
Following the cane road, we arrive at the makai boundary (we even see
a piece ribbon that marks a boundary, at the right in the
photograph). We are looking towards the truck (far left).
En longeant la limite côté océan, on arrive au ravin.
Following the makai boundary, we get to the gulch.
Lors d'une subséquente visite, on a trouvé la Paper Road... Nous
voici sur la Paper Road, regardant vers le ravin (la touffe d'arbres à
droite). La rangée de canne à sucre fait de l'ombre.
During another visit, we found the Paper Road... Here we are on it,
looking towards the gulch (bunch of trees at the far right). The shadows
are from the row of sugar cane.
