School teachers are encouraged to present the film and the DVD educational features in the classroom.
Proper licensing rights have been secured to make this possible, and buying the DVD produced by CFHT
gives you such right. CFHT wishes to gather some feedback : if you use the DVD in your
classroom, please send us an email, or mail to share your experience.
Museums and planetariums are welcome to program for free the film as an exhibit, i.e. a
standalone screen looping endlessly on the film for their visitors to enjoy a few minutes,
or the entire film. There can not be a specific fee charged to see the film. A simple
email, or mail agreement
is necessary to establish the right for such venue to play the film.
Such venues usually have a store and CFHT encourages them to stock the Hawaiian Starlight DVD of course.
For such showings, the film must not be edited or shown in anything but its entirety using the official DVD.
Universities, science laboratories, etc... are welcome to play the film in loop on a screen
for everyone to enjoy in their lobby for example. A simple
email, or mail agreement
is necessary to establish the right for such venue to play the film using the official DVD.
If you are interested in screening the "Hawaiian Starlight" film as a paid event (High Definition 1080p or standard), licensing aspects
must be dealt with CFHT which
handles the music licensing with Warner Chappell Music.
Broadcasting and download rights for the standard or the High Definition 1080p version of this film
are to be dealt on a per case basis. Licensing aspects must be dealt with
CFHT which would handle
the music licensing with Warner Chappell Music.
