A review of the current status of observing for the Very Wide.
JJ Kavelaars

Nearly 2 years into the Legacy Survey, the Very Wide now has the area and filter coverage to impact science in a number of fields. Neary 300 square degrees have been covered in 3 filters, supplemental observing is being planned-conducted and first results are being published. I will review the current status of the observations, image qualtiy and timing and discuss the issues currently facing the Very Wide component of the Legacy Survey project, concluding with a look towards the future of the Very Wide.
