May 10th, 10am Virtual Tour of CFHT

The time difference between Strasbourg and Waimea allow for attendees to peak into the CFHT remote observing room during observations. Cam Wipper, CFHT's astronomy technical specialist, will lead the virtual tour which includes pre-recorded videos of the summit, views of the night sky from our CloudCams, introductions to the remote observer working, and a backstage pass to MegaCam observations. The session will begin at 10am Strasbourg, 10pm in Hawai'i.

May 11th, 10am Tour of the Strasbourg Observatory

The Strasbourg Observatory is a mixed research unit from CNRS and Unistra, providing services to the entire astronomical community while preserving a rich heritage collection. The Strasbourg LOC members invite attendees on an observatory tour.

Lunch will be provided for those attending this session.
