Title: Wolf-Rayet nebulae in the Local Group: a SITELLE view
Presenter: Laurent Drissen
Abstract:
Ring nebulae around Wolf-Rayet stars are spectacular manifestations of the intense mass loss occurring in late evolutionary stages of the most massive stars. We will present a detailed kinematical, chemical and morphological analysis of four iconic WR nebulae in the Milky Way (NGC 6888, NGC 2359, M1-67 and Anon-MR100) based on SITELLE observations, as well as the result of a search for similar objects in Local Group galaxies (M33, M31, NGC 6822, IC 1613) from the SIGNALS survey.
