Multiple Image processing

Clicking on "Tools->Process multiple images..." brings up the following form:

This form allows files to be processed to be quickly selected using two techniques.  The simplest is to browse to the directory(ies) where the image files to process are located and highlighting the files of interest.  Clicking "Add selected to list" adds the highlighted files to the list of files to process.  Highlighting files in the processing list and clicking "Remove from list" removes the selected files from the processing list if an error was made.

The second way to load the file processing list is to use the "File Quick Select" method for selecting files with sequential numeric postfixes and fixed prefixes.  Click on the "File Quick Select" tab in the upper left of the form to bring up the following dialog:

An example of valid filenames for which this technique would works are, "VeilNebula_Blue_23.pxi" or "Sadr_R002.fit".  The file "prefixes" in this case are "VeilNebula_" and "Sadr_R", whereas the postfixes are the numeric extensions "23" and "002".  Enter the first postfix and last postfix numeric indices as well as the image extension (in the examples given, "pxi" or "fit").  Clicking "Add files to list" causes the files listed to be added to the list of files to process. Only files that are found to exist on the path specified by the input file prefix are added to the list, other file names are ignored.

Clicking "Filter settings" on the "Filters/misc" tab form opens a dialog for setting the parameters relevant to processing operation being performed.  The "Image region to use for bias estimation" settings are specific to performing basic photometric corrections on images.
