This page has been installed to provide a brief description of the upgraded lamp calibration system at CFHT ("Gumball"). Since a new observer Gumball interface was implemented in Pegasus, an user's manual is available on this site. You will also find here a database of reference spectra obtained with different lamps and instrumental configurations so that you can rapidly identify the spectral lines and verify the quality of your calibration frames during acquisition.
