The 6 6x6 patches was to get to the "required" area of 100sq dg but
covering enough different areas of sky to make the overall data set more
useful.  Switching to 4 6x6 patches would provide some ecconomy and still
get 100sq deg plus some.  If one of the patches is 10x10 then that is then
entire "required" area for the WS LSS survey.... chop, what's the need of
doing any of the other patches then?  If one of the patches is 10x10 then
I think there shouldn't be any additional patches needed.
